ABOUT MUZIKI ONLINE
At Muziki Online, we believe that learning music should be a joyful and engaging experience from the very first note. We’ve reimagined the traditional approach to piano lessons to create something truly unique: an online course that puts fun, creativity, and musicality at the heart of every session.
Our Story
Having taught piano for over 20 years, I noticed a gap in traditional teaching methods. Many piano method books place a heavy focus on reading notation and rhythms, leaving students stuck playing just one or two notes for weeks on end. The result? Learning felt slow, uninspiring, and far from musical.
I wanted to flip this approach on its head. Muziki Online was created to help young beginners (aged 6–11) dive into playing real pieces of music from day one, accompanied by lively, professional backing tracks that bring every practice session to life. The course ensures students develop a strong sense of pulse and musicality by playing in time with videos, helping them push through mistakes and build confidence in their playing.
Why Choose Muziki Online?
Learning online offers incredible flexibility for families. Pupils can enjoy their lessons from the comfort of their home, with a setup tailored to their needs. Parents can join in on the fun or simply observe as their child thrives in an engaging and supportive environment.
Unlike traditional lessons, where teachers might tap the pulse or point to a book, online teaching demands an entirely new set of skills - and it’s a speciality I’ve mastered since 2020. My innovative video course eliminates common practice frustrations by showing students exactly how their pieces should sound, empowering them to play confidently and independently.
About Me
With over 20 years of experience in music education, I’ve worked as a secondary music teacher, instrumental tutor, and ensemble director. I’ve led music departments in top Kent grammar schools and taught internationally in Kenya and the UAE. Since 2020, I’ve specialised in online piano teaching, helping young beginners succeed in an evolving digital world.
I hold an MA in Music Performance, a PGCE in Secondary Music, a DipABRSM, and I’ve recently completed an NPQLT to deepen my knowledge of curriculum development and how pupils learn. I’m currently studying for a BA in Graphic Design to enhance the resources I create for my students.

What Makes Muziki Online Unique?
Our 10-unit course gradually introduces musical concepts while reinforcing previous learning. By the end, pupils can confidently play pieces at an Initial Grade standard, read notation, and even compose their own music. Composition is woven into the course, encouraging creativity and deeper understanding of music theory.
Muziki Online isn’t just about playing piano; it’s about building skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.
